Founded in 2019, SK Farm & Agriculture is reshaping agriculture in Sri Lanka’s North with a commitment to sustainability and a thriving community. Starting as a 142-acre coconut plantation, the farm has quickly evolved into a diverse agro enterprise of various crops, livestock, and innovative farming practices. This venture prioritizes sustainable farming, education, and an organic ecosystem, making SK Farms a pioneering force in Northern Sri Lanka’s agricultural landscape.
The journey commenced with coconut cultivation, planting 12000 young coconut plants in 2019 and 2020. Today, the farm spans over three parcels of land running in 142 acres, 48 acres and 31 acres respectively. This includes coconut plantations and additional plots for diverse agricultural activities. SK Farms is not just about cultivation; it’s a wholesome approach to integrated farming, which includes livestock, cashew farming, paddy fields, and an agro-section dedicated to various crops.
